Lions Attack Massive Buffalo Right Next to My Car

So I was recently driving through Maasai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya to meet with the Maasai people, and on the way literally on the side of the road I got to witness an incredibly rare slice of nature up close, something that both awed and absolutely terrified me. We saw twelve lions attacking, taking down, and eating a giant African buffalo. It was a very intense experience to witness this from our open-windowed safari car, both terrifying but also awe-inspiring to see this part of the circle of life.
