In today's video we’ll be learning how to place a stop loss order on the Robinhood Mobile App. We’ll also touch on the differences between the different stop types like stop market, stop limit and trailing stop. Timestamps 0:00 Intro 0:50 Stop Market Order 6:02 Stop Limit Order 8:40 Trailing Stop Order Stop Market Order A market order that is triggered when a stock hits a certain price. Stop Limit Order Like a stop market order, an order that is triggered when the stock hits a certain price. Once the stop is hit, the order becomes a limit order. Trailing Stop Order A trailing stop order is an order that is entered with a stop parameter that creates a moving or "trailing" activation price. As a stock's price moves, the activation price for your order will move too – allowing potentially profitable trades to run, and may help protect against a sharp pullback. ➤ Open a tastyworks account: https://start.tastyworks.com/#/login?referralCode=PKSKCFVD2J ➤ Start Investing with M1 Finance: https://m1finance.8bxp97.net/151KXm Disclaimer: Some of these links go to one of my websites and some are affiliate links where I'll earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you.
