Dambula Cave Temple Sri Lanka
The Dambulla Cave Temples are situated in central Sri Lanka close to Sigiriya. They have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991 and form part of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. To find these impressive temples, you need to climb up about 800 steps. The views are magnificent and the temples are stunning. The Dambulla Cave Temples have been a pilgrimage site for 22 centuries and people continue to worship here today.
