Mercedes-Benz's GenH2 [fuel cell semi-truck](https://www.hydrogenfuelnews.com/transportation/hydrogen-trucks/) recently made a record 650-mile journey on a single fill-up of liquid hydrogen. The truck traveled from Woerth am Rhein to Berlin, demonstrating its long-haul capabilities while only emitting water vapor. However, questions remain about the availability of green hydrogen and necessary infrastructure. Daimler, the parent company, is aiming for these trucks to be market-ready by end of 2026 or early 2027 and is working on hydrogen fuel cells, battery-electric trucks, and hydrogen fuel for internal combustion engines. The higher costs of zero-emission technologies compared to diesel are being addressed through purchase incentives and infrastructure development. For More Hydrogen Fuel News
