Ramen Carbonara ๐ Indulge in a comforting twist on a classic Italian carbonara with this Ramen Carbonara. Ingredients: 2 packs of ramen noodles (discard the seasoning packet) 4 slices of bacon or pancetta, chopped 2 large eggs 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup heavy cream 2 cloves garlic, minced Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Fresh parsley for garnish (optional) Instructions: Cook the ramen: Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually 3-4 minutes). Drain and set aside, saving 1/4 cup of the cooking water. Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside. Cook the bacon: In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon or pancetta and cook until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
