It’s That Gratitude Guy today’s 2-min. gratitude video & tip of the day: Sicker Than a Dog This past week I caught a cold, and even though I wasn’t sicker than a dog, I still didn’t feel very good. It made me reflect on one of the absolutely great things about being sick….. It reminds you of how often we take for granted just feeling good everyday!! Embracing gratitude does that for you everyday, especially when you write in your gratitude journal. Writing in your gratitude journal reinforces all of the good that you have in your life, and that might include just feeling good everyday. It serves as a great reminder of the many blessings that we all have if we just focus on them and not the negatives. I have been saying lately, that you have to see down, in order to really appreciate up. When you are sick, you will appreciate your health that much more. By the way, you might want to consider putting together a small card, maybe 3x5, that you can call your daily card. It’s a good idea to have a daily checklist of the things you want to remember everyday. Things like: exercise, drink a lot of water, take your vitamins, write in your gratitude journal, call Mom, etc. Just a thought….. Now the gratitude tip of the day: Think about the last time you were sick, and see if your appreciation level for feeling good has gone up at all since then…..
