Between new storylines with familiar faces, there's a lot to look forward to when the iCarly reboot premieres on Paramount+. While we are excited to see our favorite casts on our screens again, Carly's BFF and one of the original characters, Sam, isn't one of them. Jennette McCurdy, who played the character on the Nickelodeon show for six seasons, just revealed that she has quit acting and she's "ashamed" of her role on the show. In a recent episode of her podcast, Empty Inside, Jennette talked to actress Anna Farris about her decision to quit acting in order to get into writing and directing.
