CNJ 113 Steam Locomotive in Minersville PA

The CNJ 113 steam locomotive readies for another round trip to the St. Nicholas Breaker on Community Day at the Minersville train station. The restored steam locomotive was the centerpiece for Community Day as it took passenger cars to the old coal breaker. It marked the first time passenger cars were taken northbound out of Minersville in more than 90 years. Passengers on excursion trains from Reading, Port Clinton, and Schuylkill Haven were brought in to Minersville by Reading & Northern Railroad for Community Day.
