Chaos has a way of creeping into our lives, doesn’t it? From endless to-do lists to unexpected crises, life can feel overwhelming. But in the midst of it all, there is a place of peace—a refuge we can find in God’s presence. Today, let’s talk about how to quiet the chaos and embrace His calming presence. Part 1: Acknowledge and Empathize Sister, I see you. Life can pull us in so many directions. Maybe it’s work deadlines, family obligations, or just the sheer weight of everything happening in the world. It’s exhausting, and sometimes it feels like there’s no way to catch your breath. I’ve been there, too. But I want to remind you that even in the chaos, God is with you. He sees your struggle and longs to give you rest. Part 2: Explore Missteps and Misplaced Focus When life feels chaotic, we often try to fix it ourselves. We multitask, overcommit, or bury ourselves in distractions, hoping to regain control. But the truth is, we can’t create lasting peace on our own. Isaiah 26:3 says, “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.” If we’re focused on the chaos instead of on God, we’ll only feel more overwhelmed.
