Covid-19 stats TUESDAY 11 Aug and a look at the Spanish gov’s new contact tracing app RadarCOVID

Today Spain saw 1,418 new coronavirus cases by PCR in a 24-hour period between Monday and Tuesday. In this video we also install and take a look at the Spanish government’s new contact tracing app, Radar COVID. Following controversy over privacy the app creators, including Secretary of State for Digital and Artificial Intelligence Carme Artigas, designed a system that claims to protect anonymity. The system works with bluetooth technology and is completely voluntary.
